About Emma & Mark

Mark started his passion for photography at an early age when his mum bought him his first camera, a kodak instamatic for his first school trip to Pateley Bridge back when he was only 10. The sheer excitement of getting those images back from bonus print are all too memorable.

His love of the great outdoors and the landscape has always remained with him through his passion for angling. Being up at the crack of dawn on the river bank or lake watching the dawn unfold has to be one of the most enjoyable experiences ones eye has the privilege to behold and the same goes for the sun going down on an evening.

Mark only started to seriously photograph 6 years ago and has had success with images in several Yorkshire publications and more recently has done done several commissions for the North York Moors National park authority, some of which can be seen in their brochures. He spends many hours in the North York Moors area on the Coast as well as inland. He also ventures in to the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.

Mark also teams up with Emma Dodsworth, owner and photographer of Ebor Images of York and together work on projects covering Landscapes, Commercial and Portrait photography. Emma has a similar passion for photography having covered projects in her career as a marine biologist having to photograph marine animals in oceans around the world. This affection for wildlife has continued to fuel her desire for wildlife photography.
